ACBSP Accreditation
The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) is a leading, specialised accreditation association for business administration education. It promotes, recognises and rewards excellent education quality.
Škoda Auto University became a full member of ACBSP in 2012 and was first evaluated and accredited by ACBSP in 2014. The successful re-accreditation process, which took place during 2023–2024, ensures that graduates of accredited study programs can be confident that the quality of their higher education is highly valued beyond the European educational space.
The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) was established in 1988 and is a global accreditation body in the field of business education. ACBSP brings together more than 1,200 institutions of higher education across 60 countries. The ACBSP accreditation process takes at least 18 months and is based on the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence in education. It evaluates aspects such as leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder relationship management, the quality of educational programs, student support, the qualifications and competencies of faculty, and the availability and effectiveness of support services and processes. ACBSP is a fully recognized accrediting body by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA—the highest accreditation authority for higher education in the USA) and an affiliate member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA—the highest accreditation authority for higher education in the EU).
