New-Generation Green Business: Leading the Change with Purpose

Course Overview

This interdisciplinary course empowers small local businesses to reinvent their models for sustainability. Supported by Business Leaders Forum (BLF) - a recognized organization dedicated to promoting sustainable business practices, it provides practical strategies to strengthen key areas such as sustainable leadership, sustainable HR, supply chain management, and ESG reporting.

Focused on real business transformation, the course helps participants tackle local sustainability challenges by offering actionable solutions and expert guidance. Through the support of BLF, businesses benefit from industry insights and collaboration with experienced leaders in sustainability.

The course employs a competence-based learning approach, driven by Purpose and grounded in the 21st EWA (Empowering Wholeness Adaptive) Education model, ensuring participants develop adaptive and future-proof skills. With an emphasis on entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, a purpose-driven mindset, and sustainable innovation, the program equips local business leaders with the tools to achieve sustainable, long-term success.

Important days

Online meeting: 21st May 2025, 17:00 to 19:00

Onsite training and final presentations: 26th – 30th May 2025, 08:45 to 15:45, in Mladá Boleslav.

Online feedback: 6th June 2025, 09:00 to 11:00

The deadline for sending applications is 27.04.2025.

Venue: Škoda Auto University, Mladá Boleslav

Fee: € 70 includes the cost of welcome dinner and social activities

Cancellation policy: fee refund in case of participation cancellation till 12th May (bank transfer fees are on student’s side).

The fee includes the costs for welcome dinner and social activities.

Students have to cover all cost by themselves (accommodation, meals, travel, etc.).

EU students may apply for short-term blended mobility grants via Erasmus+.

Reinvent a real, local, sustainable small business model.

Synthesize the company’s sustainability purposes and analyze the synthesized purposes in the performance of the company´s departments, processes, and sustainability dimensions.

Understand sustainability and strategic management as wholistic disciplines.

Course Methods:

21. century EWA Edu. didactic model of learning and understanding the reality, the Natural Step framework, Wholeness systems thinking, lectures, case studies, presentations, group discussions, peer learning, self-assessments, and a focus on individual talent development.
