On 27 and 28 February 2025, the graduation ceremonies for bachelor and master graduates were held at Škoda Auto University. During the ceremony, which took place at the St. Bonaventure Church, 100 bachelor's graduates and 68 master's graduates received their diplomas.
Graduation ceremonies are always a special occasion not only for the graduates but also for their families. The ceremony was opened with opening remarks by the Rector of the university, Ondřej Krejcar, who mentioned that as an educational institution we are rightly proud that graduates leave with a quality education and valuable experience that opens the door to interesting career opportunities.
Fresh graduate Nikola Bojčevová adds: "When I was deciding 6 years ago which university I would send my application to and which one I would finally decide on, ŠAU was definitely not the obvious choice or the favourite. I didn't have much clarity. However, looking back now on the 5.5 years I spent at Škoda Auto University I would hardly have received a more comprehensive education. In both my bachelor's and master's programmes, I did pursue a financial specialisation, but I see it as a huge plus that I was also given knowledge of almost all other corporate spheres - logistics, sales, marketing, management, production and I'm sure I'm forgetting something else. I think there are very few universities in our Czech pond that provide education with the possibility to convey these company-wide contexts in a similar and really high-quality way. Apart from quality education, ŠAU has given me many other opportunities and opened many doors. My heartthrob was definitely the Lean In Talent program, which was a program for ambitious students focused on self-development, maximizing our potential and expanding our network organized in collaboration with the Business Leaders Forum. The fact that Škoda Auto University was the first to make something like this possible for its female students, so we had the opportunity to participate in the pilot run of the younger sibling of the Lean In Middle and Lean In Senior programmes, is just the icing on the cake. I am very happy that ŠAU is my Alma Mater, in retrospect I would not have decided otherwise."
