On November 7, 2024, Prof. Stanislav Šaroch from Škoda Auto University delivered an inspiring presentation titled “The Automotive Industry in the Contemporary Economy - Position and Trends” at the 39th General Assembly of Autocluster in Luhačovice.
The presentation provided a comprehensive overview of the current state and key developmental directions of the automotive industry. Prof. Šaroch highlighted the growing influence of China as the largest producer and consumer of automobiles and analyzed its significant impact on the global market. “It is essential to clearly understand that the macroeconomic added value created in this sector is the sum of corporate profits and total labor costs,” Prof. Šaroch noted during his presentation.
