Our academic, prof. Ing. Jiří Strouhal, Ph.D., a member of the Department of Finance and Accounting, participated as a keynote speaker at the 2nd International Conference on Education, Humanities, Management and Information Technology, which took place in a hybrid form in Wuhan, China, in June 2023.
The objective of this conference was to provide an optimum platform for researchers, scholars, practitioners and students in various fields to present and share their findings or research and development results.
Professor Strouhal presented his paper "E-Government Analysis from the Perspective of Czech Companies: Covid19 as an Engine for Speeding-Up Czech Digitisation", which explores the impact of the Covid lockdown on the shift in digitisation of e-Government services from the perspective of companies, citizens, as well as government.
Among the topics presented were for example the importance of artificial intelligence in education, the development of political education, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, ecosemiotics or personal well-being - it was therefore a very diverse expert discussion that clearly contributed to the sharing of experiences and examples of good practice on an international scale.
