ACBSP Accreditation Successfully Reaffirmed Until 2034!
During the Christmas holidays, the Rector of Škoda Auto University, Prof. Ondřej Krejcar, received official notification from the Board of Commissioners confirming the extension of the ACBSP accreditation for a maximum period of ten years! This result of a rigorous accreditation process affirms the exceptional quality of teaching, scientific research, and the university’s third mission on the international stage.
The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), founded in 1988, is the global accrediting body for tertiary business education programs. The ACBSP accreditation process follows the Baldrige Criteria for Educational Excellence and evaluates key areas such as leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder relationship management, educational program quality, learner support, faculty competence, and the availability and effectiveness of support services and processes. ACBSP is fully recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), the highest accrediting body for higher education in the United States, and is an associate member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), the leading accrediting body for higher education in the European Union.
Škoda Auto University first underwent ACBSP assessment in 2014. The successful re-accreditation, completed throughout 2024, ensures that graduates of accredited programs can be confident their degrees are recognized beyond Europe. The accredited programs include all specializations within the Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, the follow-up Master’s degree in Business Administration, and the Online MBA program.
