On 30th of November at the ŠKODA AUTO University, we welcomed a delegation from a partner university from Finland – Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences. Their new President & CEO Mr. Jaakko Hallila and head of International Education Services Marjo Arola, came to get to know us, strengthen mutual relations and discuss the possibilities of future cooperation and joint projects.
Seinajöki University of Applied Sciences has been cooperating with ŠKODA AUTO University since 2014, when the first exchange mobilities of students and academic staff took place. The cooperation continued with the signing of a contract for a Double degree within the bachelor's study specialization Sales Management. As part of this program, students complete two semesters at a partner university and, after successfully meeting the prescribed conditions and completing their bachelor's degree, receive two diplomas.
ŠKODA AUTO University and Seinajöki University of Applied Sciences are mutual partners in the following international Erasmus+ projects:
Critical Incidents in Intercultural Communication and Promoting Diversity strategic partnership project. This is a three-year project focused on critical incidents in a multicultural environment. ŠKODA AUTO University as the project coordinator cooperates with Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences, Finland, University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, Wels, University of Applied Sciences Zwickau, University of Siena, Italy.
Sustainable Transportation Cooperative Project is a three-year project that aims to improve the quality of higher education. The coordinator of this project is Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences. The project partners are ŠKODA AUTO University, Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg, Thomas More Mechelen-Antwerp.
