On January 14-15, 2025, the kick-off meeting for the REnForce project took place in Yerevan, Armenia. The event brought together project partners from Latvia, Czechia, Belgium, Armenia, and Ukraine. Representatives from Skoda Auto University, Lukáš Herout and Lenka Stejskalová, attended the meeting. Skoda Auto University is the leading partner for work packages 3 and 5, leveraging its expertise in work-based learning and collaboration with the industrial sector. Project REnForce is co-funded by Erasmus+ program.
The REnForce project aims to enhance Armenia's Vocational Education and Training (VET) system, with a specific emphasis on the renewable energy sector. By strengthening VET institutions across Armenia, including those in regions and Yerevan, the project seeks to enhance the skills and knowledge of their personnel. Additionally, it aims to modernize existing educational programs to better align with industry needs, thereby reducing the skills gap in the labor market and promoting work-based learning opportunities.
We are confident in the success of this initiative and the fruitful cooperation it will foster. Renewable energy and education are pivotal for the future and the environment. The REnForce project represents a significant step towards achieving these critical goals, paving the way for a sustainable future.
