On Friday, October 25, a group of directors from higher vocational schools in Slovenia visited Škoda Auto University. Vice-Rector for Study Affairs and Quality Management, Mgr. Petr Šulc, introduced the Slovenian colleagues to ŠAU’s educational system and its collaborative approaches with industry.
The Slovenian delegation was brought to ŠAU by Dr. Jan Beseda, Director of the Association for Professional Tertiary Education, who commented on the visit: “We are pleased to have visited Škoda Auto University. Thanks to your hospitality and the kindness of the Vice-Rector, we have connected ŠAU with colleagues from Slovenia, who learned a lot of interesting things here and had the opportunity to tour ŠAU's beautiful campus. We hope this will lead to future collaboration, whether among students or faculty.”
The head of the Slovenian delegation, Mr. Miha Zimšek, Director of the Slovenian Association of Higher Vocational Schools, shared: “We are a group from Slovenia, and we are very grateful for the invitation. We always appreciate visiting other European countries and learning about their educational systems. This year, we chose the Czech Republic to get to know your educational systems and universities better. At your university, we learned how you educate students at level 6, and we look forward to further cooperation and, hopefully, future project collaborations.”
