Workshop on Role of Case Studies in Effective Teaching and Learning

Lenka Stejskalová, Pavel Štrach and David Holman represented ŠAVŠ at a workshop at a partner university in Vietnam, which aimed to show the importance of case studies in teaching. The main role was played by representatives of the University of Kent (UK), who gave several practical lectures on case study preparation and their use in teaching.
The representatives of the ŠAVŠ moderated one working day and presented our experience with the creation and use of case studies at our school. Also representatives of Asian universities, namely NUAA, UEH and BUH, presented their experiences. The workshop was also attended by guests from Switzerland, Malaysia and the Philippines.
Another benefit of the visit was a deeper engagement with selected partners (NUAA, UEH and UK) and some workshop guests.
